Tell them about Jesus

For those who travel through this world

Looking for pleasure to be unfurled

Searching for they know not what

Never finding that rainbow, that fictional pot

Tell them about Jesus

For those who strive to prove their worth

By accumulating things that on earth

Have sadly come to mean so much

Yet never have that magic touch

Tell them about Jesus

For those who think they have so-called “made it”

Who feel they’ve achieved what they need to fit

Into a society of man-made standards

A society though, that so desperately flounders

Tell them about Jesus

For those who know after all of this

Know deep down things are still amiss

Who outwardly appear to have it all

But inwardly feel so lost, so small

Tell them about Jesus

Who is this man? They may say to you

What can he do for me, that I can’t do?

He’s Peace, He’s joy, He’s love, He’s God’s Son

And He’s done everything that needs to be done

By dying for you, by living again

And He’s done it for you, that you will attain

Eternal life free from pain, free from sin

When you see at last, all you need is Him
