Mission Statement

We will teach and show people that God is always good, and His nature is not changeable toward us.

We will reach our community with the Gospel of God’s grace.

We will bring healing to the sick and release to the oppressed, binding up the broken hearted.

We will care passionately for everyone, especially those who are marginalised in society.

We will help transform lives through friendliness, prayer, pastoral care, mission, training and events.

We will empower Christians to know how much God loves them and how to be effective ambassadors for Jesus Christ in their places of work and influence.

We will show the love of Christ to the community of Yeadon, Leeds, West Yorkshire, UK and the nations.

We will develop people, helping them find the fulness of God’s purpose in service, in fellowship, in worship and operating in the power of the Holy Spirit. Church is a family and an army!

HISTORY

New Life Community Church was founded as a charity in 1982. The founding pastors were Mike Towle and Paul Lancaster. In its early days, the church met in Greenacre Community Hall. In 2006, the church relocated to St Andrew’s Anglican Church in Yeadon, where it has remained until the present day.

GROUND LEVEL

We are part of the Ground Level Network, a movement of churches whose vision is to advance the Kingdom of God everywhere. They believe that we can see the Kingdom of God advance in our world through relationship, unity, and partnership.
