We are looking forward to gathering as men!

MENS BREAKFAST

THIS SATURDAY 25th JUNE

AT 9AM

Full breakfast with soft and hot drinks.

Looking forward to hearing the life story of Rev @Mick Fleming from Burnley…

“Dangerous drug dealer to life saver”

Mick was born during England's 1966 World Cup-winning year into a Burnley working-class family. His Dad was a window cleaner, who had contracts to clean factories around the town, and, as Mick describes him, a "proper Labour-supporting man". "It wasn't poverty, but it wasn't luxury. It was a strict upbringing. We were forced to go to Church, we couldn't step out of line, it was old-school discipline."

But everything changed over two days at the beginning of February 1977. On the first day of the month, Mick was attacked by a stranger in the park on the way to school. He was just 11 years old.

One thing lead to another to having been shot, to shooting others, having shot guns, knives, drugs, to hen having an experience that has changed his life forever.
