Vision Statement:

Love God. Love People. Love Yeadon.

Mission statement:

We will show the love of Christ to the community of Yeadon.
We will be the hand of God extended to the heart of our community.
We will influence our community and church congregation by making Christ followers.
We will develop people for service, fellowship and worship in the power of the Holy Spirit.
We will reach our community with the life-giving message of Jesus.

Our Church History

New Life Community Church was founded as a charity in 1982. The founding pastors of the church were Mike Towle & Paul Lancaster. In the early days the church originally met in greenacre community hall. In 2006 the church relocated to St Andrew’s Anglican church in Yeadon where we have remained until present day.

Current leadership

Denver Thompson is the senior leader of the church. Denver has a group of leaders who work closely with him as a team in support of the vison, mission and values of the church.

Primary Goals

Our primary goal is both missional and evangelical. We are here to share Gods love as we engage with people. The church runs various activities in addition to our Sunday services which are open to all generations, cultures and backgrounds. Our desire is to help bring renewal and restoration to families in Yeadon and to see the community restored economically, socially and spiritually.  We are a growing church and in recent years have seen an increase, particularly in children, youth and families. Our core activities have developed around these groups.
